What Hotjar shows
Hotjar shows how users behave on a page: where they click, how far they scroll and where they drop off. Teams usually use heatmaps, session recordings and short surveys.
Typical findings
- a button nobody notices,
- an element that looks clickable but is not,
- a form field where users quit,
- important information buried too far down on mobile.
From observation to change
Every finding becomes a hypothesis and an A/B test. Only changes that improve results stay.
